Hezbollah's increasing intolerance for dissent is backfiring as criticism, particularly from its traditional support base in southern Lebanon, grows after the recent war with Israel. Activists like Abeer Mroueh and Nabil Mamlouk have faced severe backlash for voicing opposition, highlighting a rising frustration among residents due to the group's handling of the conflict and its impact on their lives. This dissatisfaction is leading to louder calls for change within Hezbollah's own ranks, signaling a potential shift in public sentiment against the organization.
